More Weddings and Babies...

Now that we're all caught up on the Warners, let's go catch up on the happenings on Shiz Street and Avenue A (where Mimi and Roger live).

Krystal transitioned to teen as well. As she grew, it became harder for Mimi to hide her true family history from her. She looked more like Benny every day.
Liir and Angel transitioned to adulthood on the same day, and they wasted no time in throwing a wedding.

While we're catching up with weddings, we have a couple more to talk about. Two more people had moved onto Avenue A.

Joanne Jefferson and Maureen Johnson, also outcast from their former home, moved to Alphabet City to start a new life. Luckily, they came to just the right place.
Their wedding was simple, but beautiful. Maureen took Joanne's last name.

With all the weddings going on around them, Mark and Nessa had lost track of planning theirs after they moved in together. Of course, living together also has its benifits.

Before the wedding could actually happen, Nessa became pregnant with their first child.
It's a girl!!!! Their first baby was born with Nessa's maiden name, Heather Thropp. With a new baby, wedding plans slowed down even more.
But as Heather grew, Mark and Nessa decided that the time had finally come. They held their wedding at night, not unlike Liir and Angel.
With a good luck kiss from Nessa's sister Elphaba, the couple was on their way.
Relieved to finally have the wedding over and done with, Mark and Nessa went back to their lives as a couple. Soon enough, another little surprise was on the way.

Baby number two is another girl, Riley Cohen.
Nessa and Mark were delighted with their two daughters. Soon it was time for Heather's birthday.

Riley grew fast as well. Time flies by in Alphabet City.

The Cohen's became the first family to take advantage of Alphabet City's private school option. Mark was so proud of Heather for being accepted into the school.
Soon it was time for Riley to go to school as well. She went into private school just as easily as her sister did.

What's this? Heather's a teenager already?
Yup, that time had come for the Cohens as well. Heather soon began to amuse herself with the typical teenage girl activities...

Meanwhile, Riley developed quite a knack for schoolwork.
It wasn't long before Riley hit the teen years as well. The family moved into a new home just down the street, just in time for Heather to reach yet another milestone.
Channeling her aunt in fashion choice, Heather transitions to adulthood. In keeping with the neighborhood patter, she gets married almost immediately to Erik, her own boyfriend from school.

Once Heather was married, the Cohen's received a letter in the mail. It seemed that Alphabet City was setting up an affiliation with Shiz University, and any teenage resident was eligible to attend. Riley would get to go to college. But first, she would have to find a roomate.
