The Backstory: Part One

Welcome to the official blog for the residents of Alphabet City, a lovely custom neighborhood deep in the world of the Sims 2. The Alphabet City is currently home to over 100 residents, spread out through the main town, the urban center, Alphabet City Continued, and the newly established suburb of Gillikan Hills. The town also has affiliations with Shiz University.
Alphabet City was established in June of 2005, so to tell the complete story we are going to have to do a bit of backtracking.

We begin on Christmas Eve...well, not really. But it felt like Christmas for Roger Davis...
and his roomate, Mark Cohen.


Why? Because they had just moved into their beautiful suburban...urban loft. Make that their beautiful new unfurnished loft. Mark quickly found a job, and Roger...found work at a more steady pace.

Meanwhile, just two houses down, a young woman named Mimi Marquez was moving into her
new place.


Roger and Mimi immediately hit it off, and soon were discussing each other's police records.

(Note: This would be a good time to mention that the quality of photography in Alphabet City has increased over the years, and some of the older photos may be slightly...worse than the newer.)
Roger and Mimi continued their courtship and eventually things progressed to...that level. Then....
Mimi felt that magic feeling in her stomach. A baby was on the way!!!
The two still weren't married, but Roger began spending more time at Mimi's place to help out.
He seemed excited about their little surprise.


And it's a girl! Mimi and Roger named their new baby Angel, and Roger practically moved in with Mimi to help take care of her. Practically.

Meanwhile, down the street, another surprise was on the way....
