The Backstory: Part Five

While the Davis family and the Tiggular family were getting their lives started on Avenue A and Shiz Street, down on Avenue Q another couple was doing the same thing. Princeton Warner and Kate Monster had moved into small single homes on the other side of town, an area designed for young families. The two fell in love fast, and soon enough...
A wedding was in the air! Unlike Roger and Mimi's or Elphaba and Fiyero's, Kate and Princeton went all out for their wedding. Granted, there weren't may guests because they didn't know very many people in their new home yet. That would soon change.
Around the time that the Tiggulars gave birth to their second child, the Warners gave birth to their first, a baby boy named Malcom.

Malcom soon grew into a toddler, and the proud parents wasted no time in giving him a sibling.


It's a girl! The Warners welcomed their second child, Mackenzie. Malcom, now in school, was delighted with his new baby sister, especially since she didn't live in his room.
Mackenzie grew up fast, too. Before Kate and Princeton knew it, both their kids were in school all day, and jumping on couches and beds all night. Kate was delighted at how well her kids got along.

When Malcom was 11 and Mackenzie was 6, Kate and Princeton decided to have one more child, making them the biggest family in town. Kate got pregnant on the first try.
Mackenzie was thrilled at the idea of having a younger sibling. She wanted to boss around her little brother or sister even before they were born! Then one day, while the kids were at school...

She and Princeton welcomed baby Idina into the world. Their family was now complete.
Shortly after Idina's birth, it was time for Malcom to make that big transition to teenhood.
Idina grew into an adorable toddler.

And Mackenzie also transitioned smoothly into her teen years.
Finally, Idina reached school age. The toddler years were over! But just as things were settling down in the Warner household, another milestone was about to be reached. Malcom grew closer and closer to reaching adulthood. Kate and Princeton couldn't believe their first baby was almost ready to leave the nest.

As if Malcom growing up wasn't enough, their last baby Idina transitioned to teenhood just days before Malcom became an adult. And days after Malcom became an adult it was time for another wedding.

Yup, that's green skin that bride has. Malcom was marrying none other than Vanessa Rose Tiggular!

No one in the family was happy to see Malcom leave the house. Mackenzie and Idina couldn't believe their big brother was all grown up. Of course, it wasn't long until Mackenzie could say the same about herself.

Mackenzie transitioned to adulthood just as smoothly as Malcom, and wasted no time in planning her own wedding to her boyfriend Nathan, who she had met at school.

What a beautiful bride she makes...
The reception was held in the backyard of the Warner home, but that didn't mean it was small...

With two of their children married off and the third well into her teen years, Kate and Princeton were sure that things would finally settle down. They weren't even close to being right.
